Robert Russell Winkler, Sr., 70, of Mount Vernon, Illinois passed away at 11:05 P.M. December 24, 2019, at Nature Trail Health Care Center in Mount Vernon.
Robert was a horse owner, trainer, and racer. He was an avid Chicago Cubs fan and enjoyed playing horse races. Robert loved to ride around and go fishing with his beloved dog, Christmas. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
