Fay Deleta Fenter Jones, age 96 of Malvern, formerly of North Little Rock, died October 13, 2018. She was born on May 15, 1922 in Fenter, Arkansas to the late William David Fenter and Hattie Mae Womble Fenter. After graduating from Poyen High School, Fay moved to Little Rock and began a career in banking. She worked for Commonwealth Federal Savings and Loan and attained the position of Accounting Department Supervisor. In 1969 Fay was elected to the office of Treasurer of Commonwealth Federal and held that office until her retirement. She was an avid gardener and enjoyed travelling. Fay was baptized in the Saline River as a young girl, and was a member of the Disciples of Christ.
She was also preceded in death by a sister, Floy Fenter, and a brother, William Eugene Fenter.
Graveside services will be held in Oak Ridge Cemetery at ten o'clock on Wednesday morning, October 17, 2018, with Reverend Bruce Bennett officiating, and under the direction of J. A. Funk Funeral Home.
She was also preceded in death by a sister, Floy Fenter, and a brother, William Eugene Fenter.
Graveside services will be held in Oak Ridge Cemetery at ten o'clock on Wednesday morning, October 17, 2018, with Reverend Bruce Bennett officiating, and under the direction of J. A. Funk Funeral Home.
