A private funeral service will be held 3:00 pm Sat., May 16th at Briggs Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with Rev. Scott Davis and Rev. Sandy Young officiating. Interment will follow at Mountain View Memorial Gardens and the public is invited to attend the committal service.
Tony was born on March 14, 1953 in Davidson County to J. David Jackson and Vergie Gallimore Jackson. He was a member of Siloam Church, Woodman of the World and The Lions Club. Tony had previously worked for Burlington Industries before operating his own farm. He was a racing enthusiast and loved attending car shows and cruise-ins. Some of his other interest included sports and collecting items. He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife, Fonda Johnson Jackson of the home; brother, Eddie Jackson and wife Cathy of Denton; sister, Linda Markham and husband Wayne of Denton.
Mr. Jackson will lie in state from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm on Saturday at Briggs Funeral Home in Denton.
