Dallas Ray Bittinger Sr., 53 of Swanton, went to be with the Lord on May 13, 2019.
Born April 2, 1966 in Oakland, he was the son of Dallas and Joyce Bittinger.
Ray was employed at the Upper Potomac River Company for almost 30 years. Ray was a man of great faith that loved the Lord, it shined through in his character. Ray enjoyed his job and loved his cats very much. He always had a smile on his face. He will be very missed by many.
Along with his parents, Ray is survived by his wife of 28 years, Eleanor (Arnold) Bittinger. He is also survived by his sons, Thomas and wife, Michelle and Dallas Jr.; his grandchildren, Elise and Jackson Bittinger; his sister, Sharon Paige and husband Brooklyn; niece, Tiffany Whetzel; nephew, Derek Whetzel and wife, Brittany; great nieces, Halie Ronneberg and Ava Whetzel; and great nephew, Hayden.
A funeral service will take place at the Boal Funeral Home, Westernport on Friday, May 17th at 11a.m. with Pastor Jody Bean and Pastor Shawn Shumaker officiating.
Interment will be in Philos Cemetery, Westernport
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Dawns Cat Sanctuary of Fort Ashby.
