Son of the late Herbert F Moore, Sr. and Nellie (Walker) Moore. He married Roberta on August 23, 1951 in Columbus OH. He worked for BandO Railroad for over 15 years. After the railroad yard closed he worked at a steel mill and for over 20 years.He was a founding member of the North Free Will Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Roberta Moore; and grandchild, Erin Cavener. He is survived by his children, Patricia (Richard) Cavener, Teresa (Douglas) Cavener, Debra (James) Mayhugh, David (Lora) Moore, Herbert (Mark) Moore (Tim Mills), and Christopher Moore (Cathy Daniels); 11 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; special nephew, Jerry (Nancy) Heskett.
