He received his Bachelor of Science from Mount St. Mary’s College in 1955 and his Doctorate of Dental Science from Georgetown University in 1959. Dr. Smith practiced dentistry for over fifty years in Hagerstown, MD. Pat was a member of the Maryland Dental Association and the ADA.

He fulfilled his life’s dream of restoring his barn into a home and dental clinic.

Pat is survived by his children, Vincent P. Smith Jr. (Dawn), Cindy Steigerwald (Robert), Kelly Murray (Tim), Tracy Smith, Mike Smith (Felicia), Tim Smith (Pam), Tony Smith (Jeannie), Amy Weaver (Danny); 14 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Smith; one son, Christopher C. Smith and the mother of his ten children, Carolyn J. Smith.
