Born November 22, 1941 in New Castle, she was the daughter of Alvaro and Michelina Ruth (Fusco) Carletti.
She was preceded in death on February 22, 2009 by her husband, John F. Stone, whom she married in 1960.
Karen was a 1959 graduate of New Castle High School. In 1974, she completed The School for Bank Administration at the University of Wisconsin. Karen was employed with Peoples Bank for 29 years as a Senior Vice-President and cashier. She later worked for the Human Services Center as the Executive Secretary to the Director.
Karen was active with the Red Hat Society and member of the Christian Women’s Connections. She enjoyed cooking and loved her circle of friends that she came to love and travel with. She was a lifelong member of First Assembly of God. Above all, Karen was always such a giving person of her time, love and friendship.
She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Donald and Karen Carletti of New Castle, and a nephew, Andrew D. Carletti of Pittsburgh.
