Barry “Chuck” Lathorne Knox, age 66, of St. Louis, formerly of Columbus, passed away on May 11, 2020 at his residence.

Barry was born in Danville, Illinois on October 22, 1952. He worked for 32 years at the St. Louis Children’s Hospital. Barry was known for being an honest and straight forward man who never told a lie. He was a dedicated friend and if he considered you a friend, there was no doubt that you knew it to be true.

Barry is survived by three sisters, Lisa Knox of Columbus, Tonya Knox and Patrese Knox, both of Arlington; two brothers, Sherman Knox of Clinton and Arnez Knox of Columbus; one aunt, Gloria Deberry of Columbus and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Sherman Knox, Jr. and Maeola Campbell Knox; two sisters, Tawana Knox and Sharon Knox.

In compliance with health and public safety directives, the funeral arrangements for Barry Knox will be private. Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Arlington is in charge of arrangements.
