Born Aug. 11, 1901, in Casey County, he was the son of the late Thomas and Cora Spaw Davenport. He was a farmer. He was predeceased by a daughter, Juanita Davenport.
He is survived by his wife, Wallace Luttrell Davenport; three daughters, Wanda Kuntz, Chloe King, and Barbara Ellis ; a son, Millard Kohn Davenport; two brothers, F.A. Davenport and Elmer Davenport; two sisters, Ada Chadwell and Eva Morgan; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Burial Friday, in Poplar Hill Cemetery.
