Harry Herndon Bourne, 80, of Falmouth in Stafford County died Sunday, Feb. 4, at Mary Washington Hospital.
Born in Stafford, Mr. Bourne was the owner and operator of Bourne Seafood.
Survivors include his wife, Emma W. Bourne; a daughter, Mable B. Danielson of Spotsylvania; two sisters, Grace B. Poates and Mary B. Williams, both of Spotsylvania; two brothers, Isaac H. Bourne of Stafford and Charles S. Bourne of King George; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Mullins & Thompson Funeral Service, Fredericksburg Chapel, with the Rev. E. T. Bourne officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Charles A. Danielson, Kenneth Schenemann, Robin Schenemann, Ronald Dotson, Pernell Ballard and John Jones.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 Tuesday at the funeral home.
The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to the White Oak Rescue Squad, Box 5603, Falmouth, VA 22403; or to Alzheimer's Association of Greater Richmond, 6767 Forest Hill Ave., Suite 270, Richmond, VA 23225.
