Margaret M. "Meg" Dargon-Donovan died on Wednesday, August 15th at her home following a courageous battle with ovarian cancer.
She was 48 years old.
Born in Boston, Meg was a graduate of Cardinal Cushing High School. She attended nursing school and worked as a CNA. She worked in private home nursing for several years before joining Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Needham 8 years ago. Meg had been a resident of Needham for the last 8 years. She was the beloved wife and best friend of Martin Donovan and the devoted mother of Todd Erich Dargon and his fiancé Melanie Lucia of Manchester NH. Loving daughter of James W. and Mary Anne (Gianni) of Hampton NH. Adoring Nana to Abigail and Ian Dargon. Sister of Stephanie and Greg Luce, James F. and Anne Dargon, Michael and Hoa Dargon, Paul Dargon and his fiancé Marie Fiandacca, Matthew Dargon, Mark and Eileen Dargon, Richard and Dianne Dargon, Joanne Sawyer, Diane Balukis and Timothy Dargon and his fiancé Christine Frydenborg and the late Thomas Dargon. Sister in law of Veronica Pepper Dargon. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Meg also leaves her leaves many friends at the Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Needham. She was loved and loved greatly. Visiting in the Eaton Funeral Home 1351 Highland Avenue Needham on Sunday August 19th from 3-6PM with a time of sharing remembrances at 5:30 PM.
