Arnold was born in the Timothy community of Overton Co., TN on November 14, 1943 to father William Bransford Price and mother Larue Holman Price. As the youngest of three children, Arnold didn’t have the opportunity for much formal education. He helped out on his family’s small farm and worked any odd jobs he could find, starting at an early age. His work ethic was evident.
Through his endeavors, he purchased a property that would later become home to his wife and family. He married Frances Beatrice Curtis on December 22, 1965, after running into her that summer at Echo Valley Swimming Pool. They dated briefly and were married at the Jackson County Courthouse.
Arnold enjoyed his family, field trial hounds, and Alaskan Malamutes! He was always ready to go for a ride through the country with friends and family, especially his kids. He was a great gardener, knew how to grow the best tomatoes, and was a pretty good shot with a rifle!
He had a good but hard life and through it all his wife Frances faithfully prayed him through as did his children.
Arnold was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Thomas Austin Price and sister, Janice Marie Loftis.
He is survived by his wife Frances; son David Arnold Price and wife Cindy (Palk); daughter Shannon Leigh Price-Herron; and grandson Morgan Bransford Herron, in addition to a host of family and dear friends.
