Robert Allen "Bobby" Sharpe, 90, of Newbern, Tennessee died on Monday, May 11, 2020, at West Tennessee Healthcare-Dyersburg Hospital in Dyersburg, Tennessee.
Born Wednesday, July 24, 1929 in Newbern, Tennessee, he was the son of the late Brown Sharpe and the late Eva Rush Sharpe. Mr. Sharpe was a retired employee of Newbern Hardware and member of Glendale Church of Christ.
Graveside services for Mr. Sharpe will be held at 1:30 PM on Wednesday, May 13, 2020 at Church Grove Cemetery in Newbern, Tennessee. Officiating this service will be Bro. Serge Shoemaker. Family and friends are asked to gather at the graveside for services.
He is survived by his wife of sixty-four years, Corene Ashley Sharpe of Newbern, Tennessee; one son, Marty Sharpe of Newbern, Tennessee; two daughters, Jacque Hammons of Dyersburg, Tennessee and Brenda Carter (Tim) of Newbern, Tennessee; three grandchildren, Justin Vestal, Ross Carter and Rosa Castleman and three great-grandchildren, Carlee, Allie and Baylee.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one brother, Vernon Sharpe and three sisters, Marie Crenshaw, Winnie Holloway and Glenda McCulloch.
