Actor. Born in Goodmayes, Essex, England, he was a British comic, whose craft was began with the commercial production of the Gang Show in variety theatres. He appeared in films as early as 1938, starting in a short in the series "Ghost Tales Retold" and in later years with "A Piece of Cake". He successfully made the transition from Variety and radio into TV and films, appearing in "Last of the Summer Wine", "You've Got to be Joking" and "Does The Team Think". In the production of "Camelot" 1964, Robinson played King Pellenore in the show run for 650 performances.
