David Arthur Yingling age 48 of Mt. Sterling, Illinois passed away at 7:50 a.m. Friday, July 20, 2007 at his residence.
David was born June 2, 1959 in Lincoln, Illinois the son of Arthur William and Nancy Heinzel Yingling.
He was a lifelong Brown County farmer, having graduated from Brown County High School, Class of 1977.

David was confirmed to the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Clayton and had also attended the First United Methodist Church of Mt. Sterling.
He was a member of the Brown County Hunters Association, served as an election judge for Pea Ridge Township and liked to help with the Christmas food basket.

David enjoyed hunting and fishing with his nieces and nephews and especially enjoyed attending their sporting events and was always the main cook at the Yingling deer camp.
He was preceded in death by his father.

Visitation will be from 4:00 until 8:00 Monday evening at the funeral home. Friends may also call from 8:00 a.m. until time of services on Tuesday.
Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 24, 2007 at the Hendricker Funeral Home in Mt. Sterling with Rev. Robert Einhouse officiating.
Interment at Becam Cemetery in Brown County.

Memorials are suggested to the Hornet Pride Foundation or the Brown County Emergency Services Building Fund.
