Mamie Lee Parker Moore, 89, of 102 Coney Court, passed away, August 15, 2007, at her brother's residence. A native of Gaston County, Mrs. Moore was the daughter of the late Ace Burton and Rilday Davis Parker. Survivors include granddaughters, Karin Borja Reeves of Summerville, SC, Rosalia Borja McCollough and husband Doc of Gastonia, Theresa Borja Fernandez and husband Carlos Manual, II of Brooksville, Florida, Jessica Borja of Inverness, Florida; sister, Pauline Ewing of Mt Holly; brother, Theodore Parker of Iron Station; great-grandchildren, John "Bo" Ryan Reeves of Summerville, SC, Jesse Lee Reeves of Summerville, SC, Olifio Reyes, Jr. of Wilmington, "Little Doc" McCollough of Gastonia, Carlos Manuel "Pipes" Fernandez, III and wife Melissa of Brooksville, Florida, Carla Marie Oneill and husband Kevin of Pelham, Georgia, Vincente Miguel Fernandez of Brooksville, Florida, Adrian McCollough of Gastonia; four plus great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death, in addition to her parents, are husband, Oliver Dean Moore, Sr.; son, Oliver Dean Moore, Jr.; daughter, Judy Alda Moore Borja; sister, Doshie Mae Parker Shedd; brothers, David Parker and James L. Parker.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Saturday at the Colonial Chapel of CAROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, GASTONIA, N.C. Burial in Olney Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Visitation will be 7-9 p.m., Friday, at the funeral home. Officiating will be Reverend Blake Ewing. [email protected]
