He had to leave high school in 10th grade to help the family but went on to get his GED later.He grew up in the Houston Heights.He was married twice. His first wife was Barbara Gail George and they had 4 children ...Melinda,Ronnie,Susan and Cynthia ( Cindy) and Susan. His second wife was Patricia Ann Bonora.They also had 4 children...Kathy,Kristi, Kimberly and Phillip. He worked for the Houston Post Office in Downtown Houston for over 40 years when he retired in 2008.He was a huge family man and had an immense love for his kids and grandchildren.
