Mrs Eliza Walton, wife of Samuel Walton of Auburn, passed away on Wednesday the 4th of February, after an illness lasting back to last May, when she had a stoke of paralysis. She suffered quite a bit and on Tuesday before she died she took a great deal worse, the end coming the following day at 2 a.m.
She was born on Leap Year and was 74 years old the 29th of last February.
The funeral services were held at Auburn Meeting House on Saturday at 12 noon. The speakers were A.V. Call, J.H. Allen, Bp Heman Hyde, John Carbidge and Chester Sessions.
Mrs Walton is an old timer in Star Valley, being one of the earlier settlers. she died as she had lived, a faithful Latter-day Saints.

Eliza Catherine KENT is the daughter of Samuel Benajah KENT and Sarah Jane STANDLEY. Eliza was married to Anson Vasco Call, 10 Nov 1856, in the Endowment House,Salt Lake City UT. They had three children; Chester Vinson Call, Sidney Benajah Call,and Ida Call.
Anson Vasco Call died 4 Aug 1867.
Eliza Catherine Kent Call married Samuel Augustine WALTON 4 Jul 1869 in Bountiful, Davis, UT. They had Six children; Samuel Augustine Walton Jr. RoseAnna Walton, Charles Wesley Walton, Susan May Walton, Sarah Jane Walton, & Henry Carlos Walton.
