A private family funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 14, 2020 at the Dahn and Woodhouse Funeral Home in Carroll with Rev. Cindy Johnson of St. John Lutheran Church in Carroll officiating. Burial will be in the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Templeton at a later date.
A Celebration of Life Open House will be held for Lisa Kay Jensen of Templeton on Sunday, October 10, 2021, at the Templeton Center in Templeton from 3-6pm. Lisa passed away on May 10, 2020, but because of the pandemic private funeral services were held at that time.

Lisa was born on October 11, 1967 in Davenport, IA, and was the daughter of Paul and DeLoris (Christensen) Maiden. Her family moved to Carroll when Lisa was ten years old and she graduated from Carroll High School in 1986. Lisa attended LaJames College in Ft. Dodge for cosmetology. She worked several jobs over the years and most recently for Halbur Enterprises and part time for The Still in Templeton. Lisa has made her home in Templeton with her companion and soulmate, Mike, for the past sixteen years. Lisa enjoyed reading, going for rides in the countryside, and socializing with her many good friends.
Lisa is survived by: Mike, and his children, Brant (Maria) and Corie; her siblings: Michele (Steve), Gary (Patty), Tim (Kathy), and Paula (Kirk); three nieces: Kristin, Emily (Mike), Jensen (Tucker); four nephews: Kurt (Faith) and their sons, Henry and Elliot; Spencer, Cole, and Braden. Lisa is also survived by Mike's siblings: Judy and Curt, and Dave.
Lisa was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and DeLoris Maiden, a niece, Alison Maiden and a brother, Christopher, in infancy.
