BORN 3/19/1890, he was a lifelong resident of Thorndale, a farmer and rancher, and member of Christian Church.

SURVIVORS: 6 sons, Alvis, Curtis Cecil, H.H. "Pete" and Halbert Campbell of Thorndale, Avrett Campbell of Houston, Clinton Campbell of Midland. daughter, Dorothy Caffey of Thorndale; 12 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
