Ruth Irene Roberts-Gibson, 69, of Watseka passed away on Thursday, May 7, 2020, at the Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana. She was born on September 25, 1950, in Portsmouth, Ohio, the daughter of John and Loretta (Brown) Trumann.

Ruth was previously married to Daniel Zeigler and Tony Roberts. Tony preceded her in death on November 15, 2003. Ruth married Ronald Gibson on April 19, 2007.

She is survived by her husband Ronald Gibson of Watseka; children Dana (Ed) Barber of Kankakee, Dionne (Richard) Levine of Camargo and Carey (Stephanie) Roberts of Watseka; one brother Kenneth (Janice) Trumann of Woodland; eight grandchildren and one great-granddaughter, Lily.

Along with her previous husband Tony, she was preceded in death by her parents.

Cremation rites have been accorded. A celebration of Ruth’s life will be held at a later date. Burial will take place at Sugar Creek Cemetery in Stockland.

Memorials may be made to the Arbor Foundation or the family’s wishes.
