85, Brownsburg, passed away May 10, 2020. She was born March 13, 1935 in Burkesville, KY to Hiram and Ella Bean Parrish. She was employed by Western Electric for 30 years, retiring in 1985. Bessie was a member of the Brownsburg American Legion Auxiliary and the Telephone Pioneers of America; she enjoyed bingo, gambling, gardening, sports and spending time with grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings Robbie Froedge, Elsie Hauk, J.B, Junior, Clayton Parrish, Dorothy Horton and Nina Dale. Survivors include her husband of 65 years Donald E. Clark Sr.; son Donald (Delpha) Clark Jr.; daughters Judy Clark-Snider, and Sharon Clark (Dee Opel); grandchildren Donald E. Clark III, Darcie Clark-Ping, Jason, Justin, Josh Snider, and Kristi Johnson-Barker; 13 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild; several nieces and nephews. The family wishes to express their thanks to St. Vincent Hospice for their loving care. Visitation will be from 11am to 1pm Thursday May 14 with funeral services at 1pm. Adhering to the new social distancing guidelines and restrictions, we will allow 25 people at a time in the funeral home. Burial will be in West Ridge Park Cemetery.
