Mr. Tom, born in Houston County, had lived in Cochran since 1958. He was the son of the late James Arthur and Daisy Brown Watson and the husband of the late Henrietta Norris Watson. He was retired from Robins Air Force Base and a member of the Cochran First United Methodist Church and the James Chambers Sunday School Class. Mr. Tom loved his family, friends, fishing, hunting and the outdoors.
Survivors are his daughters, Sharon (Dave) Whittaker of Section, AL and Vickie (Alton) Dykes of Hawkinsville; his grandchildren, Van (Tasha) Whittaker of Mandeville, LA and Valerie (Danny) Moreno of Aberdeen, MD, Derrick (Lisa) Dykes of Melbourne, FL, Heath (Gay) Dykes of Perry; great grandchildren, Laila, Noel and Emily Whittaker and Catherine Moreno, Caleb, Tanner, Justin, Trevor and Ali Rae Dykes; his sister, Inez Webb of Byron; several nieces and nephews.
