Carl Landon Ramsey was born in Charlotte, North Carolina to Mary Estelle and AP Ramsey on October 24, 1933. He married Barbara Reed Ramsey on July 16, 1955 and they enjoyed a wonderful marriage of 64 years until his death.

Carl is survived by his wife, Barbara; daughters Sabrina Moreno of Atlanta, Georgia and husband Al Moreno and Tranee Lewis of Greensboro, North Carolina and husband Lunsford Lewis; sister Jean Stewart of Charlotte; grandchildren Addison Moreno of Atlanta, Georgia, Andrew Lewis and Zachary Lewis of Greensboro, NC along with one great grandchild, Landon Scott Lewis of Greensboro, NC.

Carl was an amazing husband, father, grandfather, confidante and friend. He was the most honest and down to earth individual one could ever meet. Carl was funny, enjoyed telling jokes and watching his Chapel Hill football with his daughter, Tranee.

We were all so privileged to have had Carl in our lives and are thankful for the legacy that endures because of him.

Rest in Peace, Daddy.
