age 64, of Schererville, formerly of Highland, IN passed away Wednesday October 31, 2018. Kenneth is survived by his loving wife Sandy; children, Lukas(Melissa)Higgins, Jessica Higgins, Robert(Ashley)Blank; ; grandchildren, Alex, Dominic, Orrin, Sofia, Gerald, Elizabeth; brothers, David(Late Bonnie)Higgins, Larry Higgins, Ricky(Sally)Higgins; mother, Betty(Late Walter)Higgins; sisters-in-law, Cheryl Arroyo, Karen(Mike) Sullivan; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He is preceded in death by his niece, Tammy.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, November 4, 2018 at 5:00 PM at the Solan Pruzin Funeral Home and Crematory,14 Kennedy Ave. Schererville, IN (Corner of Main & Kennedy) with Deacon Phillip Muvich officiating. Friends may visit with the family on Saturday from 2:00 to 6:00 PM at Solan Pruzin Funeral Home. Cremation to follow.
Ken was a Navy Veteran and long time member of American Legion Post #9982 in Griffith. He was employed at Arcelor Mittal for 46 years. Ken was an avid motorcycle rider. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of the Calumet Area, and The Great Dane Rescue and Sanctuary.
