Marsha Hunt Jackson, loving wife, mother and grandmother, passed away quietly on December 14, 2002, after courageously battling cancer.

Her life was dedicated to caring, teaching and serving her family, neighbors, patients and students. Marsha was born in Salina, UT, on Feb 14, 1947 to Loyd and Inez Hunt. She was raised a Wayne County girl, growing up in Bicknell, UT, enjoying many pets, friends and family. Marsha is survived by and was married for 35 years to her sweetheart, Stephen H Jackson, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.

A thirst for knowledge led Marsha to continually pursue her education and to share that education with others. Marsha received her Registered Nursing training at Weber State University and a Bachelor's and Master's Degrees from the University of Utah. Marsha's service as a Registered Nurse spanned many hospitals and included being the Director of Women's Services at Davis Hospital and Medical Center, and as a Professor and Director of Student Services for the Nursing Program at Weber State University. Marsha was a dedicated member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Mormon) and served faithfully in numerous church callings and assignments including Relief Society President. She was a loving and caring woman who was devoted to her husband and her family.

Survived by her husband, Stephen; four children, Travis, Dustin, Merrick, Emily; five grandchildren; her parents Loyd and Inez Hunt; mother-in-law Edna; and siblings, Candy, George, Virginia, Gilbert, Lisa, Natalie, Troy.

Services will be Wed. Dec 18, 2002, 11 a.m. at the Gardens Chapel in Kaysville, 9 W. 550 S. Friends may call Tues. Dec 17, 6-8 p.m. at Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 N. Main, Bountiful, and at the church on Wed. 9:30-10:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment at the Bountiful City Cemetery.
