Born in Westerly, a son of the late Angelo J. Algiere Sr. and Mary (Capalbo) Algiere, he was a lifelong resident of the area.
He was a member of the SENESGA Golf League and a former member of the Bradford Citizens Club, Calabrese Club and the Democratic Party. He was an avid deer hunter.
He was a communicant of St. Vincent de Paul Church, Bradford.
Besides his wife, he leaves two daughters, Bethany DiNapoli of Newport and Michele Scott of Glastonbury, Conn.; a brother, Richard Algiere of Westerly; and two grandchildren.
The funeral will be held tomorrow at 11:30 a.m. in St. Vincent de Paul Church. Burial will be in St. Sebastian Cemetery.
