Angelo J. "Pard" Algiere Jr., 65, of 10 Quarry Rd., Bradford, the owner of Algiere's Servicenter for 35 years before retiring last year, died yesterday at Westerly Hospital. He was the husband of Virginia "Ginger" (Lonardelli) Algiere.
Born in Westerly, a son of the late Angelo J. Algiere Sr. and Mary (Capalbo) Algiere, he was a lifelong resident of the area.
He was a member of the SENESGA Golf League and a former member of the Bradford Citizens Club, Calabrese Club and the Democratic Party. He was an avid deer hunter.
He was a communicant of St. Vincent de Paul Church, Bradford.
Besides his wife, he leaves two daughters, Bethany DiNapoli of Newport and Michele Scott of Glastonbury, Conn.; a brother, Richard Algiere of Westerly; and two grandchildren.
The funeral will be held tomorrow at 11:30 a.m. in St. Vincent de Paul Church. Burial will be in St. Sebastian Cemetery.
