Died, Sunday morning, Aug. 24, 1913, at the state hospital at Jacksonville, after a lingering illness, Henry Bapple, formerly a well known cigar manufacturer of this city, aged 58 years. The deceased had been engaged in the cigar business since he was thirteen years old. He came to this city about four years ago.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mary Bapple, of this city; one son, William Bapple of Peoria, Ill., and three sisters, Mrs. Kate Inglander of St. Louis, Mrs. George Dearbon of St. Louis and Mrs. Lucy McWay of Sedalia, Mo. The body arrived in this city last night over the Wabash railroad and was removed to the undertaking establishment of Gaa & Murray where funeral services will be held. The remains will be interred in Oak Ridge cemetery.
