Born in Wells County, Mrs. Wright had lived in Fort Wayne 45 years. She retired in 1978 after 20 years as a registered nurse at Lutheran Hospital. She was a charter member of Alderagate United Methodist Church.
Surviving are her husband, Harry; a son, Louis of Winamac, Ind.; two daughters, Rosann Lindley and Nancy Davenport, both of Fort Wayne; a brother, Boston Fate Jr. of Palm Harbor, Fla.; two sisters, Vanice Atkinson of Huntington and Sharlee Klefeker of Uniondale; and six grandchildren.
Services are 10 a.m. Monday in Aldersgate United Methodist Church. Calling is 7 to 9 p.m. today and 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday in Elzey-Dickey-Haggard Home for Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, and from 9 to 10 a.m. Monday in the church. Burial will be in Covington Memorial Gardens.
Preferred memorials are gifts to the American Lung Association and Aldersgate United Methodist Church.
