Terri "Marlene" Thomas Riley, 53, of Wheelersburg, went to be with the Lord Sunday morning, Dec. 5, 2004, at Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth.
She was born Oct. 19, 1951, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to the late Rev. B. J. Thomas and Marlene Freeman Thomas of Cincinnati. She was an OB Scrub Technician at Southern Ohio Medical Center and a member of the Faith Baptist Church in Wheelersburg. Besides her father, she also was preceded by a brother, John Thomas, and a sister, Linda Hodge.
Surviving are: her ex-husband, Alva "Bud" H. Riley I, of Wheelersburg; two sons: Alva "Buddy" H. Riley II of New Boston, Ohio and Steven Smith of West Liberty, Ky; two daughters: Patricia Dyer of Wheelersburg and Stacey Sarzana of Cincinnati; and one step-daughter: Julie Riley of Cincinnati.
Other surviving are her mother: Marlene Freeman Thomas of Cincinnati, and one brother: Rev. Bill Thomas and one sister: Donna Burgess, both of Cincinnati; 7 grandchildren: Drea, Andrew, Cody, Brooke, Shavon, Kalab and Alex.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 9, 2004, at Don Wolfe Funeral Home in Sciotoville with Pastor Brian White officiating. Friends may call at Don Wolfe Funeral Home in Sciotoville on Wednesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 9 p.m. and Thursday for 10 to 11 a.m.
