Walkerton - Mazie Hiester, 87, passed away Saturday, August 15, 2015, at Miller's Merry Manor, Walkerton, IN.

Mazie was born November 3, 1927, in Salyersville, KY to William H. and Minnie Allen and lived in the area most of her life.

On July 19, 1957 in Bremen, IN, she married Bernard E. Hiester, who proceeded her in death on November 8, 1997. She was also preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, Mildred Bays, Margie Minix and Adgie Allen; and three brothers, Grover, Clarence,and Cleatis (Jack) Allen.

Mazie was a member of the Bremen American Legion Auxiliary.
Funeral services will be Thursday, August 20, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. ( Central Time), at the Rannells Funeral Home, Koontz Lake Chapel. Burial will follow at the Grovertown Cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday August 19, 2015 from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. CT at Rannells Funeral Home, Koontz Lake Chapel and Thursday one hour prior to the service.
