Robert Luck Baldwin Sr. age 87 passed away on May 8, 2020.

Robert graduated from Duncan Prep school in Nashville, Tennessee went on to attend Vanderbilt University where he was a member of Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity graduating in 1954. Post graduation, he joined the Army where he was a member of the Counter Intelligence Corps. He also received an MBA from the University of Tennessee. Robert spent his career in banking and insurance, beginning his career in Nashville with Life and Casualty. His career took him to Texas with American General and to Wisconsin with Sentry Insurance where he held several executive Roles.

He retired and returned to Nashville and participated in starting Cumberland Trust. Robert loved tennis, Vanderbilt sports and the Tennessee Titans. He also loved to travel. His favorite places were Italy and a month long stay in Florida every year.

Robert is survived by his wife of 66 years, Thelma Smith Baldwin, daughter, Katherine Baldwin Thompson (Charles), sons, Robert Luck Baldwin, Jr. (Susan) and John Stephen Baldwin (Lisa). He has 9 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

Graveside services will be held on Monday May 11 at 2 PM at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
