Nancy Rule Brewer, age 78, of Plymouth, WI, passed away peacefully on Tuesday (May 5, 2020) with her family by her side.

She was born on April 1, 1942 in Knoxville, TN, a daughter of the late W. Glenn and Leola (Johnson) Rule.

Nancy attended Bonny Kate Elementary School and Young High School in Knoxville, TN.

In 1965, Nancy moved to California. Using her fearless and bold personality, she pursued a career in the construction business. Through true grit and persistence, she opened her own contracting business. For many years, she owned and operated Trust Builders. The business was her passion. She spent countless hours working to ensure its success.

Nancy thoroughly enjoyed listening to music. She often had music playing either on the record player or via the television program Austin City Limits. Nancy loved to hike especially in the Great Smoky Mountains of Tennessee.

She is survived by her two daughters: Anne (David) Steffen of Plymouth and Mary Brewer of Plymouth; special friend: Randy Bender of MD; five grandchildren: Camile (Scott) Olig of Plymouth, Dustin (Fiancée: Amy) Bell of Plymouth, April (Travis) Lange of Luxemburg, Alicia Nelson of Plymouth, Dylan Nelson of Plymouth; fourteen great-grandchildren and one on the way; siblings: Glenda Vaughn of TN, Walter (Pam) Rule of TN, Mary Jane Miniard of TN, and Becky Hagaman of TN.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Following Nancy’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no services or visitation.
