Mabel Vincent, 89, Green Bay, died Monday morning, February 5, 1996 at a local nursing home. Born in Kewaunee on April 6, 1906, she is the daughter of the late Jules and Leona (Coppersmith) Prevost. She married Edwin J. Vincent in 1926. The couple farmed in Luxemburg until 1943 and then moved to Green Bay. Edwin preceded her in death June 14, 1970. Mabel worked at Aikens Cleaners, Green Bay, for many years. She was a member of St. Philip the Apostle parish for over 50 years. Mabel enjoyed flowers, knitting, crocheting, walking and playing cards.

She is survived by one sister, Hazel Van Dyck, Green Bay; two brothers and one sister-in-law, Arnold and Josie Prevost, and Ronald Prevost, all of Green Bay; many nieces and nephews; a very special friend, William Dequaine, Green Bay.

She was preceded in death by three brothers, Able, Fred and Orbie Vincent.

Friends may call at Malcore Funeral Home, University Avenue at Baird Street, from 2 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and prior to the funeral on Thursday. Parish wake service 7 p.m. Wednesday. Funeral Thursday 10:30 a.m. at St. Philip the Apostle parish with Rev. Larry Canavera officiating. Burial in Allouez Catholic Cemetery.
