Professional Baseball Player. She attended North Quincy High School and Sargent College where she earned a degree in physical education. She made her debut as a pitcher in 1943 with the Rockford Peaches where she played from 1943 to 1944 and from 1946 to 1947. She also played for the Kenosha Comets from 1944 to 1945. She pitched her only no-hitter in 1944 and won 21 games while with the Comets, her best season. She retired from her baseball career in 1947. She was inducted into the New England Sports Museum, Boston University Hall of Fame, and Boston Garden Hall of Fame. Her stats were 110 games, 28 -51.
