She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Olgie Gilliam; three sons, Gordon Gilliam and his wife Barbara of Lexington, Doyle Gilliam of Morehead and Gregory Joe Gilliam and his wife Becky of Morehead; 6 grandchildren, Kisha, Crystal, Jason, Alyssa, Belinda, and Johnny; and 10 great-grandchildren, Whitley, Evelyn, Felicia, Scott, Lane, Caden, Ethan, Logan, Johnathan, and Zach.
Also surviving are four brothers, Bill Phillips of Sandy Hook, Bob Phillips and his wife Barbara of Columbus, Ohio, Ron Phillips and his wife Carol and Al Phillips and his wife Lee, all of Grove City, Ohio.
Mrs. Gilliam was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. As a homemaker, she especially enjoyed sewing and cooking. She was a Christian and member of Morehead First Free Will Baptist Church. She was also a Kentucky Colonel.
Pallbearers were Clay Lyon, Ralph Lyon, Jason Gilliam, Magnus Geijer, Sanford Bentley, Dwain Wilson, and Tim Hamilton.
