Miss Adelaide Crane Clough, a native of Queen Anne's County, died suddenly at her apartment in Hyattsville on April 7. She was 71.
A daughter of the late Levi and Eugenia Crane Clough of this county, she graduated from Towson Normal School, and did graduate work at George Washington University and Columbia University. All of her teaching career was spent in the Hyattsville area.
She is survived only by two first cousins, Miss Katherine Clough, Centreville; and Mrs. Harriett Clough Koenigseder, Victorville, Calif.
Funeral services were held in Hyattsville April 10 with burial in Church Hill Cemetery.
