Dennis Jerome Freeman, 62, husband of Tammy Voit Freeman, died Thursday, May 7, 2020 at his home, surrounded by his loved ones. He was born on February 27, 1958 in Dover, Delaware to Donald R. Freeman and the late Patricia Haycraft Freeman. Dennis was a retired Lexington Fayette Urban County Government electronics/computer control specialist. He was also a former electrician and Harley-Davidson mechanic. He loved motorcycle riding, boating, fishing and hunting. In addition to his wife and father, he is survived by his daughter, Corina Freeman, Charleston, WV; sister, Lynn Freeman, Lexington; niece, Hillary Freeman, Lexington; and several close aunts, uncles, cousins, in-laws, and many special friends. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Mercer County Humane Society.
