Suggested edit: Elizabeth Rausch was not the biological mother of Lydia. Frederick was married to two women during his life. Maria Louisa (Wiegand) Dreveskracht in May of 1883 who was Lydia's mother. Lydia was born in 1883/84 and Maria (Mary) died in 1890. Frederick then married Elizabeth Rausch in May of 1893, when Lydia was 10/11 years old. Census records show that Lydia was 1 year old at the time of the 1885 census. So the date of 1880 on the death certificate is definitely incorrect. If the census records are to be believed. Lydia was born in 1884, not 1883 as is on her headstone.
