Tallahassee, FL - Mary Inez Gross, 90, passed away Wednesday, April 29, 2020 in Tallahassee, FL.

Funeral services will be 11 AM, Saturday, May 9, 2020 at Pilgrim Rest Primitive Baptist Church with burial at Greenwood Cemetery. Viewing will be Friday, May 8, 2020 from 10 AM to 6 PM at Strong & Jones Funeral Home. Due to the Coronavirus services are private.

Mother Gross was a longtime resident of Tallahassee and a member of Pilgrim Rest P. B. Church, where she was a dedicated member and served on the Mother's Board.

Survivors include her daughters Channie Collins and Margaret Hinson; her loving caregivers, Martina Walker (granddaughter) and Jurnee Williams (great granddaughter); 8 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and 2 great, great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and sorrowing friends.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Bobbie Jean Taylor.
