Roberta Thompson, 83, passed away Saturday, May 2, 2020 at Arbor Springs in West Des Moines, IA.
She was born December 28, 1936 in Princeton, MO, the daughter of Robert Perry and Frances Florence (Budd) Fuller.
She graduated from Princeton High School in 1954 and attended Iowa State University, receiving her degree in Home Economics and was a Pi Beta Phi member. She married C. Michael Thompson on June 22, 1957.
After college she worked in the Mercer County Extension Office, was a Home Economics teacher in Lineville, IA, a substitute teacher, a member of PEO, member of the United Methodist Church in Princeton, and, through all of that, was the best farm assistant anyone could ask for! Roberta was a hard worker, a master gardener, specializing in sweet corn, a server and was always willing to host and organize family gatherings.

Sons, Chuck (Mikki) Thompson of Bethany, MO, Dave (Joanna) Thompson of Las Vegas, NV, Steve (Kelly) Thompson of Leon, IA and Jim (Tina) Thompson of West Des Moines, IA. 11 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
