Jacqueline A. Moore was born in Hattiesburg, Mississippi to the late John Charles and Olivia Clemons McGee who preceded her in death. To their Union four children were born. One sister Jean Etta McGee who proceeded her in death. She was baptized at ST. Paul United Methodist Church. She attended Rowan High School where she graduated in 1964. She graduated Utica Junior College, in Mississippi. Jackie kept in close contact with all of her classmates, it gave her great joy to read and share all of their great accomplishments through the years. Jackie moved to Chicago, IL in the mid-1960’s where she started her working career. In 1976, she began working for scientific Products which changed ownership over the years. After working for 43 years, she retired from Cardinal Health.

In 1977, she was joined in holy matrimony to Major Moore and they remained married for thirty years. Jackie was a giver she donated to several charitable organizations over the years. She always sent cards and love tokens to her family and friends to let them know she was thinking about them. She was known for her quick wit. She love to read, and her brother Leon made sure she had plenty material to read. She also loved playing cards and going to the casino.

As her health began to decline, Jackie loved to watch television, eat ice cream and looked forward to her great grands visiting. On May 6, 2020 Jackie departed this life but she will forever be in our hearts.

She leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband Major Moore. Three brothers; Willie Leon McGee (Audrey), John Charles McGee, and Reverend Elijah Earl McGee (Shelia). Two daughters; Natasha Bowman (Nathaniel), Angela Stokes of Mississippi. Seven grandchildren; Brittany (Corei), Nathaniel Bowman Jr, Brianna (Arron), Tyisha, Troyvonya, Troyzon, Daventa and Junari. Five great grands; Two God daughters; Tiffany Dickey and Kyriah Friar. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A Celebration of Her Life Service will be held at 10:00 A.M., Friday, May 15, 2020 at the Bradshaw & Range Funeral Home, Waukegan, IL. Interment will be at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL. Visitation will begin at 9:00 A.M.
