Oma Missouri (Hooper) Pegram was born on January 17, 1881 in Humphreys County, Tennessee, the daughter of John Medicus "Med" Hooper III (1842–1900) and his 1st wife Mary Elizabeth "Eliza" (Latimer) Hooper (1851–1885). {Oma's Death Certificate has her born in 1880, while her cemetery marker has it as 1881.}

She was married to Felix Ralston "Ross" Pegram (1883–1957) on June 29, 1910 at the home of Jesse Harrison Cullum and his wife Maud Alice (Hooper) Cullum of West Nashville, Davidson County, Tennessee. Ross was the son of William James Pegram (1845–1916) and his wife Debarah Ella (Porch) Pegram (1848–1932).

Living at 4400 Wyoming Drive in Nashville, Oma was 84 years old and a widow when she died at home of a cerebral hemorrhage on July 7, 1965. Burial was the next day in Woodlawn Cemetery, Nashville.

Much of the above is from her Death Certificate, with Miss Elizabeth Pegram of Nashville as the informant.

Known children of Oma and Felix:

~ Annie Laurie Pegram (1911–1996) married Boyd Lee Bain; died & buried in California

~ Sarah D Pegram (1915–1974) married Allie Vernon Bowles

~ Oma "Elizabeth" Pegram (ca Nov 1919– )
