Several records found use the name Ester or Esther; however, the headstone is engraved "Easter".
After her sister Eleanor's death in 1842, she married her sister's husband James Ennis.

According to the 1861 Canada Census, Lanark, Drummond Township, Ester (age 37, widow) was residing with her parents James and Sarah Jackson, and her children, David (18), Eleanor (15), Sarah (13), John (11), Margaret (9), Ester (7), Rebecca (5).
