Melinda Nadine Simpson, 65, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma was born on January 22, 1955 in Elk City, Oklahoma. She is the daughter of Billy Joe and Delores Nadine (Ivy) Williamson. She passed away on Sunday, March 15, 2020 at Integris Hospice House in Oklahoma City surrounded by her loving family.
She married her best friend and sweetheart Peter Albert Simpson on January 10, 2000 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Melinda was a manager for Wag a Bag for over fifteen years until they were acquired by Dominoes. After the acquisition she remained with Dominoes for fifteen years managing their El Reno store until her retirement. Her hobbies included cross stitch and playing cards especially rook.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, March 19, 2020 at Main Street Baptist Church in Elk City, Oklahoma. Marion Hadsell will officiate. Interment will be at Fairlawn Cemetery in Elk City, Oklahoma. Services have been entrusted to the care of Richard and Tammy Dugger and the staff of Martin-Dugger Funeral Home in Elk City, Oklahoma.
