Mr. Steve Jackson Henderson, 67, of Clearfield, passed away Saturday evening at his home after a brief illness. He was born in Morehead, Kentucky on March 22, 1953 to the late Ike and Wander Messer Henderson.

Steve was a mechanic and had worked at several garages throughout the county.
He enjoyed watching Nascar and was a University of Kentucky Wildcat Basketball fan. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his second wife Starr McClurg Henderson, two nephews Nick Oney and Michael Henderson.

Survivors include one son, Jarrett Henderson and one daughter, Jenny Stewart and her husband Tom all of Clearfield. Two brothers Terry (Ann) Henderson and Kenneth (Edith) Henderson all of Morehead. Two sisters: Della (Terry) McClurg and Juanita (Joe) Flannery all of Olive Hill, Kentucky. Two grandchildren: Alex Stewart and Andrea Stewart. The mother of his daughter, Patty Glover of Morehead and his caregiver and mother of his son Carolyn Smith of Clearfield. Also several step-children, step-grandchildren and other relatives and friends.

Due to State and Federal mandates, private family services and burial will be conducted Tuesday, April 7, 2020 in the Conley Cemetery in Morehead.

Pallbearers will be Terry McClurg, Allen McClurg, Chett McClurg, Jason Stevens, Vickie Farfan and Edith Henderson.

The family wishes to recognize the following individuals by listing them as honorary Pallbearers: Mark Hamm, Timmy Puckett, Michael Smith, Dewayne May and Larry Messer.
