Billie Kenneth Richardson of Petersburg passed this life on Tuesday, May 5, 2020 at Maury Regional Hospital at the age of 72. Graveside services are scheduled for Friday, May 8, 2020 at 1 PM at Old Orchard Cemetery in Petersburg.
A native of Lincoln County, Mr. Richardson was the son of the late Fred and Clara Smith Richardson. He was a member of the Petersburg First Baptist Church and enjoyed fishing, hunting and cooking. He was currently the Vice Mayor of Petersburg and had served as Mayor and Alderman for Petersburg.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Richardson was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Winsett Richardson; son, Billy Joe Richardson and brother, Fred Richardson Jr.
He is survived by brothers, Gerry Richardson (Cathie) of Petersburg, Larry Richardson (Patricia) of Petersburg and Leon Richardson (Nancy Morton) of Lewisburg; sisters-in-law, Lois McNeese (Wayne) of Lewisburg and Joyce Richardson of Howell, TN; brother-in-law, Kenny Winsett of Lynchburg and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to the Petersburg First Baptist Church, 107 Church St, Petersburg, TN 37144.
