Eldest of ten children born to George and Josephine "Josie" (Potter) Arnt.

Aurilla "Rilla" S. Arnt was united in marriage (#1) on 25 Jan 1899 at Marshall County, Kansas with Lucien J. Kipper. They were the parents of three children: George James, Raymond "Ray" Jesse, and Lee Jay.

After the death of her husband Lucien, Rilla was united in marriage (#2) with William H. Sievert on 30 Jun 1934 at Kitsap County, Washington.
