Raymond, 85, a devoted and loving, husband, father, grandfather, and brother, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, May 5, 2020. Raymond was the son of Isadore and Mary (Graeber) Schneider.

Following graduating from high school Raymond proudly served his country in the Army. He later served in the Michigan National Guard. Raymond worked for General Motors as a maintenance man, retiring in 1992. On June 16, 1972 Raymond married Carol Klooster and were happily married for 46 years until her passing in 2018.

Raymond was just recently baptized and was a proud member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Charlotte. He loved the outdoors, camping, fishing, and hunting were his enjoyments in life. Raymond was known for being a beloved Beagle lover. His four legged pals were Dutchess, Snoopy Lynn and Bella Mae. He also enjoyed bowling in leagues and playing in family euchre tournaments. Raymond's proudest accomplishment in his life was his service to his country.

Raymond is survived by his children, Theresa (Joe) Smith, Mary (Doug) Howe, Pamela (Paul) Wygant, Patricia (Donald) Kidd, Rebecca (Tom) Goodman; stepchildren, Cynthia (Dean) Harmon, Sandy (Alec) Champlin, Brian (Taylor) Donaldson; 20 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren; siblings, Richard (Connie) Schneider, Dorothy (Bruce) Webster, Kathy (Keith) Elston. He was predeceased by wife, Carol; granddaughter, Robin Frazier; grandson, Dustin Howe; and his parents.

The family will receive visitors Friday, May 8, 2020 at the Pray Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be Friday with Pastor Mark Booth officiating. The funeral will be available for live stream.
