Bonnie Rose Estes

Bonnie went to be with her Lord and Savior on May 4, 2020 at the age of 94. She was
born in Onalaska, Texas October 10, 1925. She lived most of her adult life in Houston,
Texas where she was very active in the Professional Secretaries International and in live
theater. She worked for Scurlock Oil and Ashland Oil for 35 years.
Upon retirement, she moved to Visalia, California to be closer to her family. She
enjoyed being on stage with the Ice House Theater and The Fourth Wall for many
years. She loved all card games, especially bridge. Bonnie loved her church family
(Visalia United Methodist Church) and was proud to be a lifelong Methodist. She was
always ready to travel. Her travels included Singapore, Spain, the Caribbean, Mexico,
Galveston, New York City and Chicago. Once she moved to California, her favorite
place was the central California coast.
She was a wonderful and fun-loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She
is survived by her two daughters, Diane McMillan Frasier (Roger) and Pam Woods-Soper
of Visalia. Grandchildren: Thomas Brown (Dahlia) of Clovis, Ca, Tara Roque and Tracey
Anderson (Steve) Visalia, Ca. Seven great grandchildren: Kylie Miller, M.D., Avery and
Dominic Roque, Casey and Todd Anderson, Geoffrey and Penelope Brown. She is also
survived by her sister Jeri Crowe of Littleton, Colorado and 4 nieces and nephews.
The family thanks the staff of Westgate Gardens and Optimal Hospice for their
wonderful care, love and support.
Due to the current Covid 19 virus restrictions, a Celebration of Life will be held at a later
date.
